Hurricane "sandy" is almost upon us here in New England. While I had considered writing a long and thoughtful post about storms and metaphors of stormy life, I thought it best to simply wait til we get through these next few days. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. As I look at a map of New England, where I once saw towns and cities, I now see congregations, church buildings and people who are all a part of the New England Synod.
